Allan A. Mass has 30 years of experience in lending, insolvency, and mergers and acquisitions. He has participated in a wide variety of commercial transactions including loan syndications, secured and unsecured financings and mergers and acquisitions of businesses. Mr. Mass was Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Law of McGill University from 1977 to 1991 where he lectured on obligations and security in property, and he was also Executive Editor of the McGill Law Journal in 1971. He has published articles on Secured Lending and has acted as a lecturer and panelist at conferences on matters of Québec law. Mr. Mass is also a director of the Canadian Turnaround Management Association, the Québec Writers Federation and a number of private and non-profit corporations. Mr. Mass joined Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP in 1970 and became a partner in 1979. He was appointed Managing Partner of the Montréal office in 2001, a responsibility that he held until January 2004.
