Trade gap shrinks despite oil price surge

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. trade deficit shrank unexpectedly
in June as the weak U.S. dollar helped push exports higher and
overpowered record high prices for imported oil, a Commerce
Department report showed on Tuesday.
